Why Warren Buffet Says Buy Single-Family Homes

You might enjoy this video from the Oracle of Omaha, one of the world’s most successful investors, Warren Buffet, sharing why buying and renting single-family homes is a great investment opportunity. As an investor in Berkshire Hathaway and a resident of Omaha, I’m always curious to hear his perspective.

If you’re thinking about buying rental properties anytime soon… right now is the right time.

Smart Money is Already Investing in Single-Family Homes

Institutional investors like hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equity firms are shifting their focus from buying stocks to investing hundreds of millions of dollars (even billions) to buying foreclosed and REO houses… and renting them out.

The stock market is historically dynamic (unstable). There are great opportunities, like buying Amazon when Barnes and Noble looked to be the victor, but surprisingly few consistently beat the average. The ROI of investing in real estate is more reliable and stable, though obviously there are still risks. These investors realize the returns they can get in real estate are much greater right now than they’re seeing in the stock market.

The important point is that if you wait, the supply of bargain properties will be reduced and it will be harder for smaller investors like you and me to find great deals.

So, if you’re interested in picking up a couple of rental properties (or a new portfolio to replace your stock portfolio)… make sure you’re on our VIP Buyers list so you can get our Discount Property Alerts every time we tie up a deeply discounted property.

Happy investing!
